This story of the tell-tale heart tells the problems of a madman. He feels that an eye is watching him and he listens a beat of a heart. This heart and this eye are from an old man. This man lives in an old house. The madman decides kill the old man because he doesn't want to listen the sound of the heart. Finally the police close the madman in the prison.
The writer of the tell-tale heart is Edgar Allan Poe and he invented the first macabre stories.
The first psycological horror story was the Fall of the House of Ushers. It was published in the Burton's Gentleman's Magazine in 1839.
He wrotes other story types like poems of love and death and science fiction.
