A new species of giant tortoise is identified in the Galapagos Islands. The newly identified species is different genetically from the other giant tortoise species. Now there are 15 species of giant tortoises. The two Santa Cruz Island species are different in the shapes of their shells. The new species scientific name honours a recently retired National Galapagos Park ranger named Fausto Llerena Sanchez.
I choose this new because I think that this is a very interesting information. I think that in the world there are very news species of others animals to discover.
